It was a pleasure to visit the Irish Seed Savers Association in Scarriff for the launch of The Orchard Way and to celebrate 35 years of protecting Ireland’s heritage seeds and fruit varieties.
I was impressed by the work being carried out to conserve our plant genetic resources and preserve an important part of Ireland’s agricultural and environmental heritage.
