I was delighted to join the celebrations at Craggaunowen marking 50 years since the beginning of the historic Brendan Voyage.
It was a privilege to unveil a commemorative plaque alongside Arthur Magan, one of the original crew members.
The story of Tim Severin and his crew remains an extraordinary example of Irish courage, heritage and adventure.
Great to see the fantastic new improvements at Craggaunowen ensuring this unique history can be enjoyed by future generations.
