National statutory standards on community engagement

I raised the need in the Dáil today for national statutory standards on community engagement. Too many communities feel that decisions on major developments, including energy projects, are taken before they are properly consulted. We need real, meaningful engagement that builds trust and gives people a genuine voice in decisions affecting their areas and their lives.
