Good news for Clare farmers, with €9,407,076 in 2026 Eco-Scheme advance payments being issued to 5,352 farmers across the county.
Minister for Agriculture Martin Heydon TD has confirmed that payments have commenced, with the payment rate maintained at €66 per eligible hectare.
Advance payments are being made at a rate of 75%, an increase of 5% on previous years. Payments will be visible in farmers’ bank accounts in the coming days.
Farmers who have outstanding requests for documentation from the Department are advised to return the required information as soon as possible to avoid delays.
