Policing at the Irish Open in Doonbeg

I welcomed the huge opportunity the Irish Open will bring to Clare, but I made it clear in the Dáil that local communities cannot lose out on everyday Garda services because of the event. I asked the Minister for assurances that extra Garda resources and funding will be provided so policing across Clare is not stretched during the tournament or any potential high-profile visits.
