Energy upgrading of many of our older and traditional homes in towns and villages poses some real challenges, including higher costs, longer delays, and a shortage of conservation professionals.
I raised this in the Dáil this week, calling for extra supports and a stronger focus on helping owners of these homes carry out essential upgrades.
If we are serious about energy efficiency, we need to ensure that no home is left behind.
