I was delighted to attend the Ploughing Championship in Screggan, County Offaly, last week. This event is hugely important for rural Ireland and highlights the vital role agriculture plays in our economy.
It was a pleasure to meet with colleagues from the Oireachtas, including Tánaiste Simon Harris, and to see such strong support from communities across the country. I was particularly thrilled by the huge turnout from people from County Clare over the three-day event.
Events like this celebrate our farming heritage and provide a fantastic opportunity to connect with farmers, businesses, and communities that keep rural Ireland thriving.
