Tánaiste opens Joe Cooney’s Constituency Office

Fine Gael TD for Clare, Joe Cooney, has welcomed Tánaiste, Minister for Foreign Affairs and Defence, and leader of the Fine Gael Party, Simon Harris, to Ennis to officially open his new constituency office.

Speaking at the event, Deputy Cooney said:

“It is my great pleasure to welcome the Tánaiste to Ennis today for the opening of my constituency office. His presence here is a testament to the strong support that Fine Gael and the government have shown for communities like ours, and we are sincerely grateful for the time he has taken to be with us.”

Deputy Cooney added that the new office will serve as a vital hub for people across Clare:

“My constituency office is open to all. It is a place where people can come for help, advice and representation. I want to thank my dedicated staff — Maureen, Frances and Cillian — for their commitment to serving the community. I am proud to represent Clare, and I look forward to continuing my work with colleagues in government over the years ahead.”

Tánaiste Simon Harris congratulated Deputy Cooney on the opening, describing him as “a tireless advocate for the people of Clare and a strong voice in the Dáil.”

The new constituency office in Ennis is now open to the public, with Deputy Cooney and his team available to assist constituents on a wide range of issues.
